Cultural Perspectives workshops - first beginning 31 March

Our volunteers 

English Language Partners Waikato has trained volunteers who offer English language support to refugees and migrants for whom English classes are difficult to access or afford.

Certificate in ESOL Home Tutoring
2010 training dates

Term 1
Day class:     Tuesdays 2 Feb - 30 Mar:   10am-12noon
Night class:    Wednesday 3 Feb - 7 Apr:  5.30-7.30pm
Please note, the Tuesday class will be a double session on 30 March.

Term 2
Day class only Tuesday 1 June - 29 June
Every Tuesday 9.30am-2.30pm

Term 3
Day class:  Tuesdays 20 Jul - 21 Sep: 10am-12noon
Night class:  Wednesdays 21 Jul - 22 Sep: 5.30-7.30pm

Term 4
Day class only Tuesday 12 Oct - 9 Nov
Every Tuesday 9.30am-2.30pm

Please note: There is a $25 course fee to cover costs of training material.

There are a number of groups which meet on a weekly basis, in various locations and vary in English levels. Please contact the office for more information.
